SC deadlock continues, meeting of CJI, 4 judges again next week
There has been absolutely no solution in sight in the Supreme Court. A meeting of the Chief Justice of India and the four senior most judges ended in a deadlock.

The judges met to discuss the issues that were raised by the four judges at a presser on January 12. Since then the judges have met twice, but the deadlock continued.
Sources said that the issues do not pertain the roaster alone. There are several more issues on the table that need to be discussed and sorted out, the source also said.
The source also added that there would be another meeting next week. The issues would be sorted out, but they would take time, he also said.
It may be recalled that on January 12, four judges led by Justice Chelameswar had addressed a press conference. They had raised concerns over the manner in which matters were being allocated by the CJI. A week later Justices Arun Mishra and Mohan Shanthangoudar recused themselves from hearing the judge Loya case.
