SP pari'war' rift: Has Mulayam Singh Yadav brokered peace?

Is a patch-up in the Yadav clan on the cards? Shivpal will go by what Mulayam says

Lucknow, Oct 25: Shivpal Yadav on Tuesday said that he would stand by what Mulayam Singh Yadav decides. Speaking to the media he said that he will agree to what Mulayam has to say.

A meeting of Shivpal and Akhilesh Yadav is scheduled on Tuesday to be held in the presence of Mulayam, who will attempt to broker peace. Sources says that Shivpal would demand that Mulayam takes over as the CM. However, as part of the compromise strategy, Shivpal may be back in the cabinet while Akhilesh would stay on as Chief Minister of UP.

Sources also say that a truce is likely on the cards on Tuesday. Mulayam has already managed to get the warring factions together and a few formalities remain. Both sides have agreed that Mulayam will have the final word on this issue.

At a meet on Monday, one got to witness ugly scenes with both Akhilesh and Shivpal making allegations against each other. Akhilesh had demanded that Amar Singh be sacked from the party, but both Mulayam and Shivpal backed him to the hilt.
