Hit-and-Run case: Salman Khan tense, actor's fate to be decided on May 6
Mumbai, April 21: A Mumbai court on Tuesday, April 21 said that the final verdict of the infamous hit-and-run case involving Salman Khan will be announced on May 6.
The actor may go to jail for 10 years if the court convicts him in the case. The court had earlier also refused to give the defence more time to conclude its final arguments.

The 49-year-old actor is accused of ramming his Toyota Land Cruiser into a bakery in suburban Bandra on Sept 28, 2002, killing one person and injuring four others.
He has been charged with 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder' which attracts ten years imprisonment.

The sessions court is conducting a fresh trial. Earlier, the magistrate's court was trying Khan for the lesser charge of rash and negligent driving, which attracts two years jail term.
