New Delhi, Aug 6: A day after Amritsar couple, another couple from Bokaro claimed that Geeta is their daughter. Geeta, now 23, has been living in Pakistan since last 15 years. She claimed to be an India national.

While Salman Khan-starrer Bollywood blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan helped her to make headlines in both Pakistan and India, the girl now has been facing trouble as two couples claimed parenthood.

A man from Bokaro, Jharkhand on Thursday, Aug 6 claimed that Geeta is their daughter Kokiya. According to the man, their daughter had gone to rear goats, but never returned.

They tried to search for their Kokiya but they failed to locate her. However, unlike Geeta's version, the couple said that they Kokiya has 6 siblings and not 7.

Earlier on Wednesday, a couple from Amritsar claimed that Geeta is their child Pooja. Rajesh Kumar and Ram Dulari, who basically belong to Bihar, was shifted to Amritsar two decades back.

Despite a similarities between Geeta and Ram Dulari, the former said that she remembered her mother wearing saree and not patialas. After studying the images of her 'parents' and her 'brother', she told the interpreter that she does not recognise them.

Meanwhile, Ansar Burney, the Pakistani social activist, who has taken the task of uniting Geeta with her parents, claimed that he would visit India in Sept 2015 and if possible he would ask for DNA test to find the truth.

Geeta's story has similarities with Munni, the centre character of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The Bollywood movie too revolves around a speech-impaired girl (Munni) from Pakistan who finds herself lost in India with no way to return her home. An Indian man (Bajrangi Bhaijaan, role played by Salman Khan) undertakes the task and reunites her with her family in Pakistan.
