Sajad Lone rushes to Jammu to be sworn in as minister

Jammu, March 1: Sajad Gani Lone, former separatist leader and chief of the Peoples Conference, rushed to Jammu to join the PDP-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir as a cabinet minister Sunday, a source said.

"He received a call from the senior BJP leadership at the centre to reach to Jammu," a source close to Lone told IANS on phone from Srinagar.

The source added Lone had flown back to Srinagar a day before, but decided to rush back to Jammu late Saturday by road.
