RSSB Announces Comprehensive Guidelines For Patwari Recruitment Exam On August 17, 2025

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released new instructions for the Patwari recruitment exam scheduled for August 17, 2025. This examination aims to fill 3,705 positions and is expected to see participation from approximately 6.5 lakh candidates. The test will be conducted in two sessions: from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm, across 38 districts in Rajasthan.

To ensure a fair examination process, the RSSB has implemented several security measures. Multiple question papers, ranging from seven to eight versions, will be used to prevent leaks. Candidates attending the first session are not permitted to take question papers home; instead, they must download them from the board's official website.

Security Measures and Dress Code

Entry into the examination hall requires an admit card, with verification through biometrics, face scans, and Aadhaar linking. If there is suspicion of malpractice, additional checks on innerwear may be conducted. These steps aim to curb cheating and the presence of dummy candidates.

The RSSB has also set a dress code for examinees. While full-sleeve clothing is acceptable, jeans or garments with iron buttons are prohibited due to potential issues during security checks. However, candidates may wear religious bracelets or lockets at some centres following concerns about faith-related restrictions.

Free Transportation for Candidates

To facilitate candidate travel, the Rajasthan government offers free bus rides on regular and express services from August 15 at noon until August 19 at 11:55 PM. This initiative aims to ease transportation challenges for those attending the exam.

These guidelines are designed to ensure that the examination proceeds smoothly and fairly without any malpractice incidents. The board's comprehensive approach reflects its commitment to maintaining integrity throughout the recruitment process.
