Beginning on January 23, 2025, the application window will remain open until February 22, 2025, offering a month-long period for interested candidates to apply.

The notification for this vast recruitment drive was officially released on December 28, 2024, marking the beginning of a rigorous selection process aimed at attracting capable individuals to serve in various capacities within the Indian Railways. The board has emphasized the importance of submitting applications within the designated period, from January 23 to February 22, 2025. Applicants are required to upload essential documents such as a recent photograph, scanned signature, educational certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), and valid identity proof to ensure their application is considered complete.

Application Fee:

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refundable upon appearing for CBT)
  • SC/ST/PwD/Women/Transgender: ₹250 (fully refundable upon appearing for CBT)

Selection Process:

  • Computer-Based Test (CBT): Candidates will undergo a CBT covering topics such as General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying candidates from the CBT will be required to pass a PET to assess their physical capabilities.
  • Document Verification and Medical Examination: Successful candidates from the PET will undergo document verification and a medical examination to ensure fitness for the respective posts.
