RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: 11,558 Openings For Graduates And Undergraduates– Get All Details Here
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially announced the recruitment for Non-technical Popular Categories (NTPC) for 2024, which will fill a total of 11,558 vacancies. This recruitment drive will include both undergraduate and graduate-level posts.
The detailed notifications for these vacancies, known as CEN 05/2024 and CEN 06/2024, will soon be published on the official websites of the RRBs and the Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB). Interested candidates can find the notifications and apply online through the RRB application portal at rrbapply.gov.in.
According to a brief announcement in the Employment News, the application process for the RRB NTPC 2024 will start on September 14 for graduate-level posts. The deadline for these applications will be October 13. For undergraduate-level posts, the application period will commence on September 21 and will conclude on October 20.
The 11,558 vacancies are divided between graduate-level and undergraduate-level positions. Specifically, there are 8,113 vacancies for graduate-level posts and 3,445 for undergraduate-level posts.
Graduate-Level Posts Include
Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor with 1,736 vacancies
Station Master with 994 vacancies
Goods Train Manager with 3,144 vacancies
Junior Account Assistant cum Typist with 1,507 vacancies
Senior Clerk cum Typist with 732 vacancies
Undergraduate-Level Posts Include
Commercial cum Ticket Clerk with 2,022 vacancies
Accounts Clerk cum Typist with 361 vacancies
Junior Clerk cum Typist with 990 vacancies
Trains Clerk with 72 vacancies
The upcoming detailed notifications will outline the eligibility criteria, age limits, and other important details for each position.
The application fee for candidates in the SC, ST, ex-servicemen, female, PwBD, transgender, minorities, and Economically Backward Class (EBC) categories is Rs 250. For all other candidates, the application fee is Rs 500. A portion of the application fee, after deducting bank charges, will be refunded to candidates who appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
