Marin County's assistant chief deputy coroner, Keith Boyd further said "Mr. Williams' personal assistant became concerned at approximately 11:45 am when he failed to respond to knocks on his bedroom door."
"His right shoulder area was touching the door with his body perpendicular to the door and slightly suspended. Mr. Williams at that time was cool to the touch with rigor mortis present in his body," he further added.
A pocket knife was also found lying near him and the blood on the blade matched with the dried blood on his wrist.
Without revealing whether he left a suicide note or not, Boyd further said that Williams was being treated for depression. While the police is waiting for the toxicology report, which will take weeks, they could not throw any light on whether drug or alcohol was involved.
Though William was open about his struggle with cocaine and alcohol, his fan followers could not imaginehim ending his life that way. They gathered in fond remembrance at the Hollywood walk of Fame with flowers and candles around his Star.
