Robbers take away ATM with over Rs 1 lakh

Moga (Pb), Aug 27: Six persons today took away an ATM of a public sector bank installed on the premises of a private college on Moga-Ferozepur road here, police said.

The robbers sprayed some chemical in the eyes of the ATM guard leaving him temporarily blind, police said, adding that they used gas cutters to cut the machine containing around Rs 1,70,600.

They lifted the ATM and put it into a four wheeler parked on the road, police said. Police have launched a hunt to nab the culprits.
