Robbers in Camouflage Suits Steal Rs 60 Lakh from Raipur Family Home

In Raipur city, a family was robbed of Rs 60 lakh by unidentified individuals, some dressed in camouflage, according to a senior police official. The incident occurred at Manohar Velu's residence in Anupam Nagar, under Khamhardih police station limits. The robbers entered the house and took the cash, which the family had received from a recent land sale.

The robbery happened in the afternoon while Velu's family was resting after lunch. Five people, including a woman, arrived at the house and inquired about money. They forced their way inside, stole Rs 60 lakh from a diwan trunk bed, and fled the scene. The family had recently sold land worth Rs 2 crore and used part of the proceeds to purchase another property, keeping Rs 60 lakh at home.
