Revanth Reddy Ensures Fairness In Allu Arjun Case Following Stampede Incident

In Delhi, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed the media regarding the detention of popular actor Allu Arjun, amid the turmoil following a fatal stampede at a movie premiere. He articulated that the judicial process would proceed without any hindrance or favoritism, even from him, underlining the principle of equality before the law.dy assured that the legal procedures for Allu Arjun would be the same as for any other individual, insisting on non-interference in the justice system.

Further delving into the unfortunate incident on December 4, where a stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of "Pushpa 2" led to the death of a woman named Revathi and left her son severely injured, Reddy confirmed that the police had been proactive in addressing the situation. This tragic event prompted the police to apprehend Allu Arjun on December 13, following a visit by the actor to the theatre that resulted in an uncontrollable crowd surge.

The Chief Minister explained, "The law will take its course regarding Allu Arjun's case," asserting that no one, including himself, would meddle in the legal proceedings. He stressed the importance of letting justice prevail without any external influence. The response came in light of Allu Arjun's arrest, which was part of the police's broader crackdown following the deadly stampede.

In the wake of the disaster, the police detained several individuals associated with the theatre, including its owner Sandhesh, senior manager Nagaraju, and Ghandakam Vijay Chander, who was responsible for the upper balcony. These arrests took place after a complaint filed by Bhaskar on December 5, with further investigations leading to additional arrests by December 9. The focus of the ongoing investigation is on dissecting the events that culminated in the stampede, aiming to bring justice to the affected.
