In a touching display of cultural diplomacy, an Indonesian group performed the Bollywood hit 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' during a banquet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu. This event, held in honour of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at Rashtrapati Bhavan, featured senior ministers from Indonesia. The song, from Karan Johar's debut film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji, remains popular both in India and abroad.
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is visiting India for the first time. He will be the Chief Guest at the 76th Republic Day celebrations at Kartvya Path. The event will also feature Indonesia's Genderang Suling Canka Lokananta, a 190-member band from the Indonesian Military Academy (Akmil). This ensemble represents military tradition and discipline.

Strengthening Bilateral Ties
Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with President Subianto at Hyderabad House in Delhi. They discussed enhancing their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The focus was on defence, security, maritime cooperation, economic ties, and fostering people-to-people connections between the two nations.
