RBI Assistant 2023: Registration For The Post Of Assistant Begins, Details Inside

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday issued a notification for the post of Assistant for the year 2023. Candidates willing to apply for the post can fill the application form at opportunities.rbi.org.in.

The last date of filling the forms is October 4, i.e. students who are willing to fill the form for the post of Assistant in the Reserve Bank Of India may fill the form till October 4.

The RBI has issued the notification with an aim to recruit a total of 450 Assistants. The online preliminary test of RBI Assistant 2023 is scheduled for October 21 and 23 and the main exam is likely to take place on December 2.

Eligibility Criteria

• Indian citizen, or a refugee from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet who came over to India before January 1, 1962 are eligible to apply for these vacancies.
• Apart from this, a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India can also apply.
• However, in the case of such candidates, an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India is required.

Age Criteria

A candidate who is at least 20 and not more than 28 years old as on September 1 can apply for the posts. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable to reserved category candidates.

Applicants must be a graduate by September 1, 2023 in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate to apply for the post. However, SC, ST, and PwD candidates should have a bachelors degree with a pass class
