Ravindra Jadeja's wife thrashed ‘brutally' by a policeman in Jamnagar

The alleged incident occurred at Saru Section road in Jamnagar when Reeva's car allegedly hit the motorcycle of the constable who attacked her.

Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja's wife, Reeva Solanki, was allegedly assaulted by a policeman after her car hit the cop's bike in Jamnagar, Gujarat, said reports.

News agency ANI quoted Jamnagar's Superintendent of Police Pradip Sejul as saying that a case has been registered and action would be taken against the cop who manhandled Reeva.

As per latest report, the police have detained constable Sajay Ahir in connection with the incident.

The alleged incident occurred at Saru Section road in Jamnagar when Reeva's car allegedly hit the motorcycle of the constable who attacked her, said Sejul.

A PTI report quoted an eye witness as saying that cricketer's wife was thrashed 'brutally'.

"The policeman mercilessly thrashed Reeva and even pulled her hair during an altercation," the PTI report quoted eye-witness, Vijaysinh Chavda, as saying.
