Assam: Ranjit Das becomes new BJP chief

Assam BJP legislator Ranjit Das was appointed the state party chief on Friday, a statement said.

New Delhi, Dec 16: Assam BJP legislator Ranjit Das was appointed the state party chief on Friday, a statement said.

"BJP National President Amit Shah has appointed Assam BJP legislator Das as the state party chief," said the Bharatiya Janata Party statement.

Das represents the Sorbhog constituency.
