Ram Temple Inauguration: Holiday For Schools; Liquor Shops To Remain Shut On Jan 22 In UP
All the educational institutions across Uttar Pradesh will be closed on account of Ram temple inauguration in Ayodhya on January 22.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to declare a holiday to schools and colleges in view of the Ram Temple 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony, according to ANI.

The CM has also said that liquor shops will remain closed in the state on the day.
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister visited Ayodhya today and held a meeting with Ram temple trust officials and seers on the preparations for the consecration ceremony. He also inspected the water works at Amani Ganj, the police control room and the tent cities being constructed by the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation.
Also, Chhattisgarh and Assam will observe dry days in view of the temple inauguration on January 22.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has said there will be a dry day in the entire state on January 22. In compliance with orders, all country liquor and foreign liquor retail shops, restaurant bars, hotel bars, and clubs in Chhattisgarh will be closed on January 22. The directive emphasises ensuring that no liquor is sold or served on this designated dry day in any establishment or by any individual.
The government of Assam also decided to mark January 22 as a dry day, minister Jayanta Malla Baruah said. The Ram temple will be inaugurated in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. More than 6,000 people are expected to attend the 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony.
The Ram temple complex, built in the traditional Nagara style, will be 380 feet in length (east-west direction), 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra general secretary Champat Rai had said earlier.
Each floor of the temple will be 20 feet high and have a total of 392 pillars and 44 gates.
