On the day of consecration, the live broadcast of the event will be showcased at approximately 300 locations in the United States, including the iconic Times Square in New York. Paris's Eiffel Tower is also undergoing preparations to commemorate the 'Pran Pratishtha' day.

In the US, large-scale auto rallies and week-long celebrations are planned in cities, organized by temples. In France, arrangements are in progress for a Grand Rath Yatra.

Moreover, the UK, Australia, Canada, and Mauritius are gearing up for extensive broadcasts of the event. Mauritius, with around 48 per cent Hindus, granted a two-hour break to Hindu officials on January 22, the day of the Ram Temple inauguration. The global celebration of this historic event is gaining remarkable momentum.

Mauritius Readies 'Diya' Celebration for Ram Mandir Inauguration

In Mauritius, High Commissioner Haymandoyal Dillum has announced exciting plans for the local community in preparation for the inauguration of the Ram Mandir.

Mauritians are eagerly preparing to illuminate all the temples across the island with traditional 'diyas' (earthen lamps). The corridors of the temples will resonate with verses from the Ramayan during the 'Ramayan Path' ceremony.

High Commissioner Dillum shared, "In all the temples, a symbolic 'diya' will be lit, accompanied by the recitation of the 'Ramayan Path' throughout the day," in an interview with news agency ANI.

He emphasized that this consecration ceremony holds immense significance not only for India but also for the people of Mauritius.

The Mauritian government has shown support by granting a two-hour special break for Hindu government officers on January 22. Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth's decision allows the Hindu community to actively participate in local events marking the 'Pran Pratishtha' of Lord Ram's idol in Ayodhya.

Ghoorbin Bhojraj, President of the Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation, mentioned that a cultural program is planned ahead of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir's inauguration, where Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth will be the chief guest.

He added, "Across Mauritius, the Hindu community is in a celebratory mood. Starting from Makar Sankranti on January 15, all temples will host the chanting of verses from the Ramayana. On January 22, when Lord Ram will be enthroned at the grand temple in Ayodhya, we will celebrate with joy akin to Diwali. It will be a Festival of Lights celebrated twice this year during Diwali."

Billboards and Celebrations in US

Over 40 billboards in 10 states, including Texas, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Georgia, have been erected by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), US chapter. This visual celebration has extended to Arizona and the State of Missouri, participating in the festivities that commenced on January 15.

A spectacular car rally in New Jersey, featuring at least 350 cars adorned with flags bearing images of Lord Ram, has been organized by Lord Ram devotees in the United States.

Attention was also drawn to the Tesla Car musical show in Washington DC, where over 100 Tesla-owning Ram Bhaktas gathered at Shri Bhaktha Anjaneya Temple in Maryland. The parking lot was transformed into a divine stage, with their Teslas synchronized with a popular Ram bhajan, creating a mesmerizing symphony of light and music. Stunning drone footage captured the scene, showcasing the Teslas arranged to form the word "RAM."

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHP America), the driving force behind Ram temple celebrations in the US, not only organized the dazzling Tesla show but also orchestrated car rallies in 21 cities across the nation. Devotees from Atlanta to Seattle, Houston to Boston, honked their horns, waved saffron flags, and sang bhajans of Lord Ram.

Grand Rath Yatra scheduled in France

The Ram Rath Yatra and puja, a noteworthy event occurring 24 hours ahead of the 'Pran Pratishtha' in India, are set to be hosted in France, Paris. The 'Ram Rath Yatra' is scheduled to be commenced from Place De La Chapelle at 12 pm, concluding at the location of the iconic Eiffel Tower, Place De Trocadero, by 3 pm.

At 10.30 am, the yatra will be initiated with prayers and the 'Vishwa Kalyan Yagna' at a Ganesha temple in La Chapelle. The ceremony will encompass an elaborate puja, aarti, prasad distribution, and a cultural show.

Subsequently, significant landmarks such as the renowned Arc de Triomphe, the Musée de Louver, Place De La Republique, will be traversed by the procession, ultimately arriving at Place De Trocadero.

Canada Towns announce 'Ram Mandir Day'

On January 22, 2024, 'Ayodhya Ram Mandir Day' was declared by the towns of Oakville and Brampton in Canada's Ontario.

The declaration was made by the mayors of Brampton, Patrick Brown, and Oakville, Rob Burton, who emphasized that the inauguration of the temple in Ayodhya "holds immense cultural, religious, and historical significance for Hindus worldwide, signifying the culmination of a centuries-old dream."

The residents of their respective towns were called upon by both mayors to celebrate the "historic event" of the temple's opening in Ayodhya.

Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha - Live Broadcast

According to media reports and information from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), various events are scheduled to be witnessed by more than 50 nations, with the consecration ceremony set to be streamed live.

In the United States, streaming will take place at 300 locations, while in the UK, Australia, Canada, and Mauritius, the live broadcast will occur at 25, 30, 30, and 100 locations, respectively.

The joy and anticipation felt by Hindus globally as they prepare to witness the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22 are mirrored by the Hindu American community's celebrations across the US.
