Rajesh Talwar to assist jail medical team, Nupur to teach women, kids

Ghaziabad, Nov 27: Rajesh Talwar and his wife Nupur Talwar, who are serving life term imprisonment in Dasna jail for killing their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, have been assigned routine works.

They will be paid Rs 40 per day, sources said.

According to the jail authorities, Rajesh Talwar, a dentist, has been asked to assist Dasna jail's medical staff. Nupur Talwar will teach female inmates and their children in the jail.

Also, the authorities said that the Talwar couple are suffering from insomnia. The jail authorities said they will ask for medical help if required.

The Talwar couple were arrested for committing the double murder in their plush Noida residence in 2008. The CBI had argued that the couple killed the duo and tried to destroy evidence.

Although the Talwars had denied of having committed the crime, the court on November 25 sentenced them to lifetime imprisonment.
