Rajasthan: YouTuber Elvish Yadav Shares 'False Video' Of Police Escorting Him; Booked
A case has been filed against YouTuber Elvish Yadav for allegedly posting a misleading video. The video claimed that he was escorted by the Rajasthan Police during a music video shoot in Jaipur. Officials have dismissed these claims, stating no official security was provided to him. The police have accused Yadav of attempting to tarnish their reputation.
Elvish Yadav is no stranger to controversy, having previously faced accusations related to providing snake venom at parties. In the recent video, Yadav is seen in a car driven by Krishnavardhan, son of former Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas. A police vehicle appears behind them, with Yadav claiming it was escorting them.

Police Deny Escort Claims
Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph confirmed that no escort was provided to Yadav. "An FIR has been registered against him in the matter," he stated. Additional Commissioner of Police Rameshwar Singh reiterated that police security is only given based on established protocols and not for personal purposes.
The controversial video also showed Yadav's car passing through a toll booth without paying, followed by the police vehicle. Former minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas distanced himself and his son from the incident, stating they did not request any police escort.
Legal Actions and Investigations
ACP Kunwar Rashtradeep mentioned that the FIR against Yadav was filed at the cyber police station. The charges include sharing a "fake video" that harms the Rajasthan Police's reputation. The investigation into this matter is ongoing as authorities seek further clarity.
Pratap Singh Khachariyawas expressed confusion over the presence of police vehicles, suggesting either the state government or Elvish Yadav should clarify their involvement. He remarked, "This issue is being stretched too much," indicating his desire for resolution.
