Rajasthan Rains: Schools Close in Four Districts as CM Coordinates Relief Efforts
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma convened a meeting with senior officials to assess the impact of heavy rains in Rajasthan. During the meeting, held at the Chief Minister's Office on Sunday, Sharma urged officials to speed up relief efforts and take necessary precautions based on weather forecasts.

In response to the severe weather, district collectors in Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Bharatpur, and Dausa have ordered the closure of all schools on Monday. This directive applies to both government and private institutions.
Relief Efforts and Precautionary Measures
Sharma emphasized the need for joint teams from relevant departments to accelerate relief and rescue operations in the affected regions. He instructed officials to visit waterlogged areas to ensure proper drainage and provide essential services like drinking water, food, and medicines.
The chief minister also stressed the importance of restoring water and electricity supplies as quickly as possible. He directed state police to stay alert and assist in maintaining order during this crisis.
Public Health and Safety
Civic bodies were instructed to work diligently to prevent the spread of seasonal diseases. Sharma also called for public awareness advisories to be issued promptly.
"Joint teams of the concerned departments should be formed to expedite the relief and rescue work in the affected areas," Sharma said. He added that officials should ensure basic facilities are available in waterlogged regions.
With heavy rain warnings still in place for parts of Rajasthan, Sharma's administration is focused on mitigating further damage and ensuring public safety. The chief minister's directives aim to provide immediate relief while preparing for potential future challenges posed by the weather.
The meeting concluded with a call for continuous monitoring of the situation and swift action to address any emerging issues. The state government remains committed to supporting affected communities through coordinated efforts.
