Rajasthan Police Vehicle In Vasundhara Raje's Convoy Overturns; Officer On Duty Injured

A police vehicle in the convoy of Vasundhara Raje, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, overturned in Pali district. The incident happened on December 22 as the vehicle tried to avoid a collision with a motorcycle. Several policemen sustained minor injuries during the accident, according to police reports.

Vasundhara Raje was travelling to meet Otaram Dewasi, a former minister, to offer condolences for his mother's passing. The mishap occurred while she was en route from Mundara village to Jodhpur. The police jeep escorting her between Bali and Kot Baliyan overturned in an attempt to dodge a bike rider.

Rajasthan Police Officers Injured

Pali SP Chuna Ram Jat confirmed that seven policemen were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident. "Some of them have sustained minor injuries," he stated. The injured officers were quickly taken to Government Hospital Bali for first aid and were later discharged.

Rajasthan BJP Leader Vasundhara Raje Shared Details Of Accident

Vasundhara Raje shared details about the incident on X, stating, "While returning from Mundara to Jodhpur, the police jeep following behind overturned and policemen Ruparam Ji, Bhagchand Ji, Suraj Ji, Naveen Ji and Jitendra Ji were injured." She expressed her wishes for their speedy recovery.

The prompt response ensured that all injured officers received immediate medical attention. They were transported by ambulance to receive necessary care before being released from the hospital.

Despite the accident, Raje continued her journey by road to Mundara village in Pali district. The incident highlights the risks involved in road travel and the importance of quick medical intervention in such situations.
