Rahul: Jobs will be created for the Mizo youth if Cong comes to power

Kolasib (Mizoram), Nov 23: Addressing a rally in Kolasib in Mizoram on November 21,

vice-president

stressed the welfare of the Mizo youth and also assured them that there will be more jobs for the youth if Congress was voted back to power in the state.

He also added that skill development was Congress' top priority and that educated Mizo youth must find employment across the country. "We will also create more jobs for youngsters in the state during the next five years if Congress retains power," he said.

Speaking about the development of sports skills among Mizo youth, Rahul said that 'a number of Ronaldos and Messis will come up in from the state.' He also lauded Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla and the New Land Use Policy (NLUP) for bringing economic prosperity in the state.

NLUP was provided Rs 2,800 crore by the Centre that benefited the youths and farmers by creating more jobs for them.

Rahul also said that the government will be paying special attention tp the roads, and said that every village in the state will be linked.
