Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi paid a surprise visit to Delhi's Azadpur Mandi at 4 am on Tuesday to gain insight into the prices of vegetables and fruits. During his visit, he interacted with vendors and traders, inquiring about the cost of essential food items.
This visit is a part of Rahul Gandhi's recent trend of engaging with common people at various locations, including drivers, farmers, and mechanics.

Notably, on July 8, Gandhi made an impromptu stop at Madina village in Haryana's Sonipat district. There, he spent time with farmers, worked alongside them in the agricultural lands, took part in paddy sowing, and even drove a tractor. Additionally, he shared a meal brought by women laborers working in the fields.
Prior to this, on July 27, after completing a week-long Ayurvedic wellness treatment at the renowned Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala in Kerala, Gandhi left for Delhi. In a Facebook post, he expressed his gratitude to Dr. PM Varier and the team of doctors and staff for their love and care during his stay at the hospital.
During his time in Kerala, he attended a condolence meeting in memory of former Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy at Malappuram and also offered prayers at Sri Viswambhara Temple on the premises of Arya Vaidya Sala. Additionally, he witnessed a captivating Kathakali performance at PSV Natyasangham, a prestigious classical center under the aegis of Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakkal, established by the legendary 'Vaidyaratnam' PS Varier.
In a Facebook post, Gandhi expressed his enjoyment of the enthralling performance, appreciating the reflection of India's diverse histories and cultures evident in its various art forms.
