Rahul Gandhi's Bold Claim in the US: 'China Occupies Indian Land The Size Of Delhi'
Rahul Gandhi has criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's handling of the border situation with China, claiming that Chinese forces occupy Indian land in Ladakh equivalent to the size of Delhi. He expressed his concerns during an interaction at The National Press Club in Washington DC.

During his speech, Rahul Gandhi questioned how the United States would react if a neighbouring country occupied 4,000 square kilometres of its territory. He stated, "Would any president be able to get away with saying he's handled that well?" He further added, "I don't think Mr. Modi has handled China well at all."
Rahul Gandhi's Remarks on China
Rahul Gandhi emphasised the gravity of the situation by stating, "We've got Chinese troops occupying land the size of Delhi in Ladakh, and I think that's a disaster." He criticised the media for not giving enough attention to this issue. His comments have sparked significant debate and criticism from various political quarters.
The Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA and other opposition parties, including Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party, have condemned Rahul Gandhi's statements made during his US visit. They argue that his remarks on manufacturing in China and India's reservation policy are inappropriate and damaging.
Comments on Pakistan
However, there was some consensus on his views regarding Pakistan. Rahul Gandhi stated, "Pakistan's instigation of terrorism in our country is holding the two countries back. We're not going to accept Pakistan carrying out terror attacks on our country." He stressed that as long as Pakistan continues such actions, there will be ongoing issues between the two nations.
Rahul Gandhi's comments have stirred a significant response both domestically and internationally. His critique of PM Modi's approach towards China and his firm stance against terrorism from Pakistan highlight key geopolitical concerns for India.
The Congress party shared Rahul Gandhi's statements on social media platforms, amplifying his message and sparking further discussions among political analysts and the general public.
In conclusion, Rahul Gandhi's remarks during his US visit have brought attention to critical issues concerning India's foreign policy and national security. His strong words against China's territorial occupation and Pakistan's terrorism underline ongoing challenges faced by India on the international stage.
