Rahul Gandhi slams govt over GST roll-out on first anniversary of demonetisation

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is visiting Surat in poll-bound Gujarat where he held 'Black-Day' protest. He will also participate in the candle-light vigil by Opposition parties in Vivekanand statue in Chowk Bazar area.

''Today in your factories and homes I saw the talent which can compete very well with China,'' said Rahul Gandhi while addressing traders in Surat.''

Slammed the GST roll-out by the incumbent government, Gandhi said,''We were against the implementation of GST because the Government's version was not right. Eventually when Modiji realized it was a mistake he said Congress was also a party to it''.
