Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda hosted a lunch at his Delhi residence on Friday. The event saw the presence of over 85 MPs from various parties. Notable attendees included Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, who are also MPs. The gathering was marked by camaraderie as leaders from different political backgrounds enjoyed traditional Haryanvi cuisine.

During the lunch, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi explored the food stalls with Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda. They spent about an hour with the Hooda family, enjoying the dishes on offer. The event provided a platform for leaders to set aside political differences and engage in discussions on current issues.

The lunch is part of an annual tradition hosted by Hooda during Lohri and Makar Sankranti. It serves as a reunion for many old colleagues to reconnect and exchange views. This year was no exception as leaders from TMC, AAP and Shiv Sena joined the gathering. Bhupinder Singh Hooda and MP Deepender Hooda extended a warm welcome to all guests.

Later in the day at another location, Bhupinder Singh Hooda chaired a CLP meeting of his party unit. As the Leader of Opposition in Haryana Vidhan Sabha, he stated that Congress will demand answers on several public issues in the upcoming budget session. This reflects the party's commitment to addressing concerns affecting citizens.
