Rahul Gandhi is engaged in VULTURE POLITICS: Smriti Irani
New Delhi, July 23: Union Minister Smriti Irani on Monday gave a scathing reply to Congress President Rahul Gandhi over his comment on Alwar lynching case.
Sticking BJP's line of attack against the Congress party, Smrti Irani said that Rahul Gandhi's family presided over the worst form of hate in 1984, Bhagalpur, Nellie and many other instances.
"It is shameful that he is doing the same through VULTURE POLITICS. Not a single instance goes by where he doesn't attempt to rupture social bonds for electoral gains," Irani tweeted.

Smriti Irani replied to Rahul Gandhi's tweet on Alwar lynching in which he said, "This is Modi's brutal "New India" where humanity is replaced with hatred and people are crushed and left to die." Rahul Gandhi citing media report, tweeted, "Policemen in Alwar took 3 hrs to get a dying Rakbar Khan, the victim of a lynch mob, to a hospital just 6 KM away."
It may be recalled that Union Minister Arjun Ram Ram Meghwal attacked Congress in a similar way on the issue of lynching. Meghwal said, " We condemn mob lynching but this isn't a single incident. You have to trace this back in history. Why does this happen? Who should stop this? What happened with Sikhs in 1984 was the biggest mob lynching of this nation's history."
