'Rahul Gandhi Died For Country': BJP Takes A Jab At Kharge's Tongue Slip
The BJP on Monday mocked Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for an inadvertent slip in which he mistakenly mentioned Rahul Gandhi instead of his father Rajiv Gandhi.
Speaking at a rally in Anupgarh in Rajasthan, Mallikarjun Kharge said, "Leaders like Rahul Gandhi gave their lives for this nation's unity." However, he corrected it after someone reminded him of his tongue slip.

"I apologise. I mistakenly said Rahul Gandhi...Rajiv Gandhi gave his life for the nation's unity. Congress has leaders who gave their life for the nation while the BJP has leaders who take lives," Mallikarjun Kharge said.
Mocking Kharge over his tongue slip, the BJP posted the clip on their X' and wrote, "Yeh kab hua? (When did this happen?)"
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two rallies in the state, canvassing for BJP candidates.
Modi, along with Union minister and Bikaner MP Arjun Ram Meghwal, travelled in an open-vehicle as people assembled on either side of the road to greet the prime minister.
The roadshow started from Junagadh. Throughout the route, the prime minister waved at the crowd and shook hands with some of them.
Assembly elections in Rajasthan will be held on November 25 and votes will be counted on December 3.
