Rahul Gandhi condoles loss of lives in MP train mishaps

New Delhi, Aug 5: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday, Aug 5 expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of twin train accident in Madhya Pradesh.

At least 19 people were killed in Madhya Pradesh's Harda district when the Varanasi-bound Kamayani Express and Mumbai-bound Janata Express trains derailed and fell into Kali Machak river around midnight on Tuesday, authorities said on Wednesday.

"Very sad to learn of the derailment of 2 trains in Madhya Pradesh. My deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones in this mishap," Rahul said in a tweet.

"I hope the injured are provided adequate medical care and assistance at the earliest," the Congress vice president said.
