Anandpur Sahib, Nov 25: Gearing up for the upcoming Assembly polls in Punjab, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a public rally here on Friday.
The elections to 117 constituencies in the state is likely to be held in the last week of January or early February.
All the political parties have geared up and have begun hectic preparations for the upcoming Punjab elections.
In Punjab, the Shiromani Akali Dal, of which Badal is the patron, has an alliance government with the BJP since 2007.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed confidence of an AAP sweep in the Punjab assembly polls, insisting that his party would win more than 100 of the 117 seats.
