Priyanka Gandhi a 'paper tiger', says Smriti Irani
As BJP headed towards a resounding victory in Uttar Pradesh, Union Minister Smriti Irani called Priyanka Gandhi a paper tiger. Speaking to a television news channel, the Union minister said that Priyanka's campaigning for the Samajwadi party and Congress alliance had no effect on the BJP whatsoever.
Priyanka was featured as Congress' star campaigner for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections but addressed very few rallies limiting herself once again to Amethi and Rae Bareli constituencies. Irani refused to attach any importance to Priyanka as far as electoral politics was concerned.
"This is a win of Modiji's leadership and Amit Shah ji's hard work. It has broken all barriers of religion, caste, creed etc," she said on the BJP's mammoth victory in Uttar Pradesh.
