A viral pre-wedding video featuring a Hyderabad police couple is making waves across social media platforms. The video showcases the two police officials, dressed in their uniforms, entering the police station premises and riding in police vehicles during a two-minute song sequence.

This video has gained widespread attention and gone viral, drawing the interest of internet users. While some might expect a senior police officer to criticise such a display as an abuse of authority, IPS officer CV Anand had a different perspective and some advice for the couple and others.

IPS Anand commended the couple's enthusiasm and their evident affection for their uniforms but acknowledged that the video was somewhat "awkward." Nevertheless, he expressed his desire to meet the couple and offer his blessings.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, IPS Anand shared, "I have seen mixed reactions to this .Honestly ,they seem to be a little overexcited about their marriage and that's great news, though a little embarrassing.Policing is a very very tough job, especially for ladies. And she finding a spouse in the department is an occasion for all of us to celebrate."

Regarding the use of police department property and symbols in the video, the senior police officer remarked, "The fact that it's two police officers, I find nothing wrong in them using the police department property and symbols. If they had informed us earlier we would have definitely given consent for the shoot . Some of us may feel outraged, but I feel like meeting them and blessing them , though they didn't invite me for their wedding . Of course, I advise others not to repeat this without proper permission."

The video has amassed thousands of views on various social media platforms.

While some online users criticised the couple for what they saw as a "bold misuse of power," others suggested that the South Indian cinema industry, Tollywood, could learn something from the professionally crafted pre-wedding video of this police couple, which features a slow-motion dance sequence.
