Pragyan Rover To Unveil Moon's Secrets: ISRO

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Tuesday took to social media the Chandrayaan-3's message from the lunar surface.

The Chandrayaan 3's official X handle read, "Hello earthlings! This is #Chandrayaan3's Pragyan Rover. I hope you're doing well. I want to let everyone know that I'm on my way to uncover the secrets of the Moon 🌒. Me and my friend Vikram Lander are in touch. We're in good health. The best is coming soon...."

Earlier on Monday, the ISRO announced that the Pragyan rover, which is part of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, has encountered a crater just meters ahead of its location on the lunar surface. The rover has been forced to retrace its path, but ISRO scientists are working to ensure that it can still cover as much distance as possible across the uncharted South Pole region.

This is the latest challenge that the Pragyan rover has faced since its successful soft landing on the Moon's south pole on August 23.
