Posters of 3 Pakistani Terrorists Behind Pahalgam Attack Put Up in J&K
Security agencies have released posters of the three Pakistani terrorists suspected to be behind the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which left 26 civilians dead. The posters, bearing the message "Terror Free Kashmir," have been put up across several locations in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district.
A reward of ₹20 lakh has been announced for anyone providing credible information about the wanted terrorists. Authorities have assured that the identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential.

The brutal attack, in which gunmen opened fire at Baisaran meadow-about six kilometres from Pahalgam town-claimed the lives of 25 tourists and one Nepali national. It marks the deadliest terror strike in the Kashmir Valley since the 2019 Pulwama attack.
The three identified terrorists, all associated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), include Adil Hussain Thoker, a resident of Anantnag, and two Pakistani nationals: Ali Bhai alias Talha Bhai and Hashim Musa alias Suleiman.
The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of the Pakistan-based LeT, claimed responsibility for the attack.
In response, India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, targeting nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). In retaliation, Pakistan carried out strikes on Indian military bases and civilian areas along the international border. India countered the aggression by launching precision strikes on 11 key Pakistani airbases, significantly weakening their operational capabilities.
After several days of cross-border hostilities, both nations agreed to a ceasefire on May 10. However, India clarified that while military action had paused, no diplomatic-level talks would be held with Islamabad.
