Politicians Come and Go, But Sanatana Dharma Stays: Pawan Kalyan Counters Udhayanidhi Stalin
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan delivered a sharp rebuttal to Tamil Nadu's Udhayanidhi Stalin, cautioning him against making statements like the controversial "eradication of Sanatana Dharma" remark. Pawan Kalyan, speaking at the 'Varahi Declaration' after offering prayers at Tirumala temple in Tirupati, directly addressed the issue in an effort to resonate with Tamil audiences, even attempting to speak in Tamil.

Udhayanidhi Stalin had allegedly compared Sanatana Dharma to diseases like coronavirus, malaria, and dengue, suggesting that it should be "completely eradicated," comments that sparked outrage among Hindus nationwide.
During the event, Pawan Kalyan read a Telugu poem symbolizing the resilience of a powerful system in the face of minor disruptions. He asked his film fans and party supporters to translate the poem into Tamil and share it with Udhayanidhi Stalin, emphasizing that such "instigating statements" would fail to harm the ancient faith.
"Politicians like you come and go, but Sanatana Dharma will remain eternal," Pawan Kalyan stated, dismissing any attempts to undermine the religious belief.
