Police picks up 3 suspects in the Chennai train blasts case

Bengaluru, Nov 22: Three persons were picked up from Dharwad in connection with Chennai train blasts.

These persons who were arrested from the Tejaswi Nagar police station limits are being questioned for their alleged role in the Chennai train blasts.

A team of the Maharashtra ATS is also in Dharwad to question these persons.

Chennai train blasts suspects arrested

It is said that these persons are part of the SIMI and apart from allegedly executing the blasts at Chennai they were also involved in incidents of robbery in Maharashtra and Surat.

The Bangalore and Chennai police will also question them for leads. The Chennai blasts case remains an unsolved mystery till date.

Two low intensity blasts had taken place on May 1 this year at the Chennai railway station, killing one and injuring 14 people. Then BJP's PM candidate Narendra Modi was campaigning for his party in Seemandhara when the blasts took place in Chennai.
