PM Narendra Modi greets nation on Eid
Jammu, July 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted the nation on the conclusion of the holy month of Ramzan and the upcoming Eid festival.
"The holy month of Ramzan is coming to an end. People are waiting for Eid. The country and the world will celebrate Eid. I extend hearty greetings on this occasion," he said.

Modi, who paid a brief visit to Jammu, was addressing a function here to commemorate the birth centenary of late leader Girdhari Lal Dogra.
He disapproved of political untouchability, saying the national heritage should not be divided and all leaders who have worked and died for the nation should be given equal regard irrespective of their ideologies and affiliations.
