PM Modi Urges Youth To Drive India’s Journey Towards ‘Viksit Bharat’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at the 200th-anniversary celebrations of the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in Vadtal, Gujarat, emphasised the pivotal role of youth in realizing the dream of a Viksit Bharat (developed India).
Addressing the event virtually, PM Modi called for the nation to encourage and involve young minds in building a prosperous future, as reported by ANI.

"I urge everyone, especially the youth, to participate actively in realizing the vision of a Viksit Bharat," said Modi, stressing the importance of staying connected to this goal. He further outlined that the path to a developed India begins with self-sufficiency. "A self-reliant India, or Aatma Nirbhar Bharat, is the key to our progress. It is through the promotion of 'Vocal for Local' that we will empower our nation," he added.
The Prime Minister also warned against divisive forces that seek to disrupt unity, citing caste and gender-based divisions. He asserted that these actions must be defeated to pave the way for a united India, as reported by ANI.
Modi underscored the need for skilled youth, noting that foreign leaders are increasingly seeking Indian professionals due to their abilities. He spoke about the global recognition of Indian youth's skills and their contribution to addressing global challenges.
Addressing the challenge of drug addiction, PM Modi highlighted the importance of protecting the youth from destructive habits. He praised the Swaminarayan community for its ongoing work in promoting de-addiction and emphasized the continuous need for such efforts.
In a call to action, the Prime Minister pointed to the transformative changes in sacred sites like Ayodhya, Kashi, and Kedar, symbolizing the resurgence of Indian culture and heritage. He also mentioned the successful retrieval of stolen idols, showcasing India's growing global influence, as per ANI reports.
The Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in Vadtal, known as the spiritual heart of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, has been a symbol of unity and spirituality for generations. The temple's architecture, designed in the shape of a lotus, represents harmony among all religions and continues to inspire millions around the world.
PM Modi's speech reflects his vision for India's development, where the youth play a crucial role in steering the nation toward a self-reliant, unified, and prosperous future.
