Expressing her surprise, Meera Manjhi mentioned that she had no prior knowledge of PM Modi's visit to her home. Just an hour before, she was informed about a visit by a political leader. Recounting the visit, Meera shared, "He arrived, conversed with my family, inquired about the benefits of the Ujjawala scheme, and then asked about the meal. I mentioned rice, lentils, vegetables, and tea. He requested tea, commenting that it's necessary to have tea in the cold. He found it a tad sweet, and I explained that's how I prepare it."

During his visit, PM Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station and launched two Amrit Bharat and six Vande Bharat trains. On his way back from the railway station, he visited Meera Manjhi's residence before proceeding with the second phase of his schedule-the inauguration of the Maharshi Valmiki airport and other developmental projects.

Reflecting on the encounter, Meera expressed joy at meeting the Prime Minister. She mentioned, "I informed him about our house received under his Awas scheme. We now have access to water and I'm delighted to cook using gas. It saves time, allowing me to spend more quality time with my children."
