PM Modi Declares New Policy Against Terrorism: Operation Sindoor Marks a Turning Point
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a strong and unmistakable message to Pakistan with the unveiling of a new, assertive counterterrorism policy. Citing Operation Sindoor as a turning point, Modi declared, "India will not tolerate any act of terror. The message is clear: if India is attacked by terrorists, we will respond with full force, on our terms."
Prime Minister also said Operation Sindoor is now the new normal in the fight against terror.

The Prime Minister laid out three central principles that define India's fresh strategy in tackling terrorism:
Decisive Action
India's approach will be marked by swift and resolute action. The government made it clear that terror camps, wherever they may be located, will face immediate and unrelenting strikes. India will no longer wait for the threat to escalate but will act decisively to neutralize terror at its roots.
No Nuclear Blackmail
PM Modi emphasized that India will not succumb to nuclear blackmail, marking a firm stand against nations using nuclear power as leverage to protect terrorist operations. India's defense strategy will focus on precision strikes against terror sanctuaries, ensuring that these threats are completely dismantled without compromising national security.
Accountability
The Prime Minister stressed that both state sponsors of terrorism and the leaders of terror organizations will be held fully accountable. India will not hesitate to call out and confront those who provide refuge or aid to terrorist groups, holding them responsible for the havoc they cause.
PM Modi's policy shifts India towards a proactive stance on counterterrorism, making it clear that no act of terrorism will go unpunished and that India's security interests will always come first. With this policy, the country has signaled to the world that it will not rest until the threat of terrorism is entirely eradicated.
