PM Modi flags off Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express
Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Bhopal-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express train at Rani Kamalapati station in Bhopal on Saturday.

The 11th Vande Bharat Express train between Bhopal and the national capital will cover 708 km distance in 7.45 hours.
Addressing a gathering after the flagging-off ceremony, PM Modi said, "Our endeavour is to transform railway sector and make travel convenient for citizens."
PM Modi, who arrived in Bhopal in the morning, attended the Combined Commanders' Conference before flagging off the train.
According to the IRCTC, the New Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat express will run between the cities six days a week except for Saturday. The train will leave Bhopal at 5:40 am and will arrive in Nizamuddin station at around 1:10 pm.

According to reports, the train may run from Bhopal's Rani Kamlapati station to Hazrat Nizamuddin station instead of New Delhi railway station - to save time by half an hour. During its journey, the train will pass through Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi, Gwalior and Agra Cantt railway station.
Ticket Price
So far there is no official confirmation about the fare of the train between Bhopal and Delhi. But as per the reports, the fare between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Rani Kamalapati station will be Rs 1665 which includes Rs 308 as optional catering charges. Executive class is priced at Rs 3120.
Meanwhile, Chair car tickets will cost Rs 1735 including Rs 379 as catering charges. The price for the executive class is Rs 3185.
Vande Bharat Express has redefined passenger travel experience in the country. The new train being introduced between Rani Kamlapati Railway station, Bhopal and New Delhi railway station will be the eleventh Vande Bharat train in the country.
The indigenously designed train set of Vande Bharat Express is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities.
It will provide faster, comfortable and convenient travel experience to the rail users, boost tourism and promote economic development in the region.
Assembly elections in the Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled Madhya Pradesh are due by the end of this year.
