PM Modi condemns London terror attack; vows to fight terrorism
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the terror attack in London in a series of tweets on Thursday.
New Delhi, March 23: Hours after terror hit London, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack in strong words on Thursday. The Prime Minister in a series of tweets said that "India stands with UK in the fight against terrorism."
"Deeply saddened by the terror attack in London. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families," the PM tweeted. He added, "At this difficult moment, India stands with UK in the fight against terrorism."

Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said no Indians were among the killed or the wounded. She also ensured all help to Indians currently in London.

The world is in shock as terror hit in the heart of London on Wednesday. According to latest reports, five people were killed and about 40 injured in the terror attack after a car ploughed into pedestrians and a suspected Islamist-inspired attacker stabbed a policeman close to Britain's parliament.
"India strongly condemns Westminster terrorist incident and condoles the loss of life. No place in democracies and civilised societies for terrorism," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay tweeted.
