Shiv Sena MLA Nilesh Rane Asserts PM Modi Can Defeat Bangladesh in Just 48 Hours

During a rally in Maharashtra's Sindhudurg district, Shiv Sena MLA Nilesh Rane asserted that India will protect Hindus in Bangladesh, who are reportedly under attack. He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi could defeat Bangladesh within 48 hours. The rally was organised to protest against the alleged atrocities on minority Hindus in Bangladesh.

Nilesh Rane: PM Modi Can Defeat Bangladesh

Rane emphasised that Hindus have only one country, India, while Muslims have many. He urged those unhappy with India to leave. He also alleged that Hindu women are being kidnapped and stones are thrown at religious processions in Maharashtra. Rane stated, "We will save Hindus in Bangladesh. There is PM Narendra Modi for that."

Protests and Political Alliances

Nilesh Rane is the son of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane and brother of BJP MLA Nitesh Rane, known for provocative speeches. Nilesh, previously with the BJP, joined Shiv Sena led by Deputy CM Eknath Shinde before the recent assembly polls, winning from Kudal in Sindhudurg.

In Thane district, the Sakal Hindu Samaj marked World Human Rights Day by highlighting violence against Bangladeshi Hindus. They met Thane district collector Ashok Shingare and Police Commissioner Ashutosh Dhumbre to submit a memorandum urging swift action from the Indian government.

Community Support and Demonstrations

The Sakal Hindu Samaj organised a silent march in Thane as part of their campaign called Bangladesh Hindu Nyaya Yatra or Bangladesh Hindu Justice March. This initiative aimed to draw attention to the plight of Hindus in Bangladesh and demand action from authorities.

The campaign extended to Vasai in Palghar district, where hundreds participated in the yatra led by BJP leader Mahendra Patil. The event sought to express solidarity with Bangladeshi Hindus facing violence and discrimination.

The memorandum submitted by the Sakal Hindu Samaj highlighted the inhumane treatment of Hindus in Bangladesh. It called for decisive measures from the Indian government to address these issues effectively.

The rally and subsequent events underscore growing concerns about the safety of minority communities in neighbouring countries. The involvement of political leaders like Nilesh Rane reflects the issue's significance within India's political landscape.
