PM Modi Birthday Special: Delhi CM Unveils 'Namo Pragati Dilli' Song In 21 Languages

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta unveiled a song dedicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, which falls on September 17. The song, titled "Namo Pragati Dilli — Baal Swar Se Rashtra Swar Tak," was crafted by Delhi's Education Department. It features students singing in 21 languages to honour Modi's 75th birthday.

Gupta expressed gratitude towards Modi, highlighting his contributions to Delhi over the years. She remarked, "For years, PM Modi has worked for Delhi like a lifeline. Despite this, the previous governments have continuously criticised him and used inappropriate language. Today, our government expresses its heartfelt gratitude to him."

Celebrations and Initiatives

The Chief Minister also acknowledged school students for their birthday wishes to the Prime Minister. She assured them that their handmade cards would be sent promptly so that Modi receives them on Wednesday. Gupta stated, "I promise to send your cards today itself so that he gets them tomorrow...He will like the way you have wished him in multiple languages in this song."

In conjunction with the birthday celebrations, a special morning walk is scheduled for Wednesday at 7 AM on Kartavya Path. This event is part of the broader festivities marking Modi's milestone birthday.

Educational Programmes

During the 15-day 'Sewa Pakhwada', various educational initiatives will be introduced by the government. Gupta mentioned plans for new curricula and programmes such as CM Shri schools, Rashtra Neeti, Neev, and Nipun. These efforts aim to enhance children's learning experiences and personal development.

The launch of these initiatives underscores the government's commitment to improving education and fostering growth among young learners. The focus remains on equipping children with skills necessary for their future.
