Listing several achievements, Modi said the number of airports had increased from 74 in 2014 to more than 160 in 2026. He also noted that expressway length had expanded from around 1,000 kilometres in 2014 to 6,700 kilometres by 2026.

The Prime Minister further said metro rail services, which operated in only five cities in 2014, are now available in more than 20 cities.

On the defence front, Modi highlighted the rise in defence exports from ₹700 crore in 2014 to ₹23,000 crore in 2026.

Digital India Transformation Highlighted

The Prime Minister also underlined the rapid expansion of internet access and digital transactions across the country.

"In 2014, there were only 25 crore internet users in the country; today, over 100 crore users are connected to the internet. In 2014, digital payments were negligible; today, India ranks number one in digital transactions," he said.

The remarks formed a key part of his argument that India has undergone a significant transformation in governance and service delivery over the last decade.

'Viksit Bharat Has Become Every Citizen's Dream'

Modi said one of the biggest achievements of the NDA government has been changing the national mindset and creating a collective aspiration for a developed India.

"A major success of the NDA's 12 years in power is that the country has broken free from the web of Congress's machinations," he said.

The Prime Minister added that the vision of a developed India is no longer associated with a single government or political party.

"Today, every citizen of the country is filled with the dream of a Viksit Bharat. The dream of a Viksit Bharat is no longer limited to any single individual, government, or political party; it has become the dream and the resolve of every single person in the country. We must dedicate every moment to the fulfilment of this dream," Modi said.

His remarks came during a special NDA meeting held to mark the completion of 12 years of the Modi government and his historic milestone of becoming India's longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister.
