People's Welfare Front will capture power: Vaiko

Coimbatore, Mar 18 : Hitting out at ruling AIADMK and DMK, MDMK chief Vaiko today claimed that the People's Welfare Front, of which his party is a constituent, will win in the May 16 assembly polls.

Addressing a press meet here, claimed that the people would put a full stop to the "money power of both the parties."

Besides MDMK, the People's Welfare Front comprises CPI, CPI-M and VCK.

The MDMK leader condemned the brutal murder of Dalit youth Shankar in front of his wife at Udumalpet on March 13, and said it was the responsibility of all political parties to strive to prevent such incidents, without considering vote bank politics.
