Pathankot attack: Death toll of security personnel rises
Pathankot, Jan 3: A Lt. Colonel with the National Security Guard succumbed to injuries at a hospital taking the death toll among the security forces to seven.
Earlier three personnel too died at hospital where they were admitted following injuries sustained during the Pathankot attack.

Meanwhile, four jawans were injured after a grenade accidentally exploded during the search and combing operations.
Search and combing operations continue at the Pathankot air base. The security personnel want to be completely sure before declaring the area as sanitized.
Yesterday after four terrorists were killed the Punjab police declared the operation as over.
However, gun fire went on till late in the evening before one more terrorist was killed.
