The incident was reported from Narwana, Haryana. Media reports claimed that the customer had bought the packet from a Swadeshi store.

The shopkeeper too accepted that the packet of the Atta Noodles was purchased from his store.

Meanwhile, the customer informed that he would file a litigation against Patanjali, an ayurvedic institution owned by Ramdev and his associates.

Earlier Ramdev faced criticism for the same product when it was claimed that Patanjali did not take permission from Food Safety and Regulatory Authority of India (FSSAI) for manufacturing Atta Noodles.

However, overruling all allegations, Ramdev had said, "...there is no controversy over noodles, manufacturers have all necessary permissions. Noodles have FSSAI approval."

"We have all original documents and the Central government gave me license," the yoga guru added.
