Parkash Singh Badal forms panel for women safety in public transport
Chandigarh, May 4: The Punjab government today constituted a five-member panel to suggest steps to ensure safety of women passengers in the view of Moga molestation case that embarrassed it and put spotlight on women's safety in public transport.
The panel will include state Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Principal Secretary (Transport), Secretary Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes and Additional Director General of Police, a government spokesman said.

The committee has been asked to submit its report within a month, the spokesman added.
